Jacqui Lambies grandfather was born in Britain and immigrated to Australia when her father was an infant. Until 2017, her father, who had always considered himself Australian, was unaware that this made him a dual citizen. Likewise, to Jacquis bewilderment and deep embarrassment, it turned out that this also made her a dual citizen. This hit national headlines because 46-year-old Jacqui was an Australian federal politician. Unaware of the implications of her ancestry, she had officially sworn, as is required of all Australia political candidates, that she was solely a citizen of Australia. She was forced to resign.
For all those politicians also discovering they were dual citizens, their only hope of ever again becoming federal politicians is to renounce their foreign citizenship and then try to be re-elected in another election.
As in the natural, ones ancestry does not doom people spiritually, but ignorance is no guarantee of protection. The spiritual implications of ones ancestry could remain in force until renounced.
