I have come across a number of examples of people whose eyesight differs according to the alter but one woman with Dissociative Identity Disorder shared the following dramatic example with me:

    I’m visually impaired with an acuity of 20/200 in my left eye and 20/400 in my right eye, and yet there are times when I can see perfectly. As of yet no one can explain how someone born with this visual impairment could, at times, have perfect vision except to say that there exists a part [alter] that can see well.
