Leviticus 10:1-3 Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, each took his censer, and put fire in it, and laid incense on it, and offered strange fire before the Lord, which he had not commanded them. Fire came out from before the Lord, and devoured them, and they died before the Lord. Then Moses said to Aaron, “This is what the Lord spoke of, saying, ‘I will show myself holy to those who come near me, and before all the people I will be glorified.’” . . .

Leviticus 26:28 Then I will walk contrary to you in wrath. I will also chastise you seven times for your sins.

Deuteronomy 4:23-24 Be careful, lest you forget the covenant of the Lord your God, which he made with you, and make yourselves an engraved image in the form of anything which the Lord your God has forbidden you. For the Lord your God is a devouring fire, a jealous God.

Deuteronomy 6:15 For the Lord your God among you is a jealous God; lest the anger of the Lord your God be kindled against you, and he destroy you from off the face of the earth.

Psalms 89:46 How long, the Lord? Will you hide yourself forever? Will your wrath burn like fire?

Isaiah 59:17-18 He put on righteousness as a breastplate, and a helmet of salvation on his head. He put on garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a mantle. According to their deeds, he will repay as appropriate, wrath to his adversaries, recompense to his enemies; he will repay the islands their due.

Isaiah 63:3-6 “I have trodden the wine press alone; and of the peoples, no one was with me: Yes, I trod them in my anger, and trampled them in my wrath. Their lifeblood is sprinkled on my garments, and I have stained all my clothing. For the day of vengeance was in my heart, and the year of my redeemed has come. I looked, and there was no one to help; and I wondered that there was no one to uphold: therefore my own arm brought salvation to me; and my own wrath upheld me. I trod down the peoples in my anger, and made them drunk in my wrath, and I poured out their lifeblood on the earth.”

Jeremiah 4:4 Circumcise yourselves to the Lord, and take away the foreskins of your heart, you men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem; lest my wrath go out like fire, and burn so that no one can quench it, because of the evil of your doings.

Nahum 1:2 The Lord is a jealous God and avenges. The Lord avenges and is full of wrath. The Lord takes vengeance on his adversaries, and he maintains wrath against his enemies.
