Each of Us is Irreplaceable

Everyone, with or without D.I.D., is treasured by God. To him, each of us is irreplaceable, having a unique place in his plan and in his heart; a place that no one else can fill. We are not in a race against each other. We compete only with ourselves, and our willingness to follow after God with our whole heart, as we seek to daily submit to the cross and to the path he lays before each of us individually. We should run, not looking to the right or left at each other, but comparing ourselves only to our elder brother, Christ Jesus, and the unique calling he has for each of us, following him personally on the path prepared and suited for us alone. The only measuring stick God will one day use for us is whether we do what he gave us to do. He will not compare us with each other, nor should we do so to ourselves.
