The Beauty of Holiness

Many things in life hurt and feel like an enormous loss. Ultimately, however, Christians cannot lose. In the short term, life can seem horrific but Gods commitment to our long term good is unshakable. All we need do is cooperate with Gods efforts to turn devastation into beauty. This simply involves drawing as close as we can to God and doing things his way. So, as distressing as a mistakes and tragedies can be, there is something even more tragic: letting it erode our relationship with God. Blaming God at the very time that we most need his comfort, support and healing is, at the very least, a double whammy.
