Bitterness, coveting, gluttony, getting drunk, lust, homosexuality people falling into such behavior usually have genuine, heart-rending stories of horrific experiences that pressured them into the hole they now find themselves in. These people are most worthy of compassion. Every single one of us stands equally dependent upon Christs forgiveness. It magnifies our guilt if we were to point an accusing finger in their direction. We have no idea how poorly we would have fared had we suffered their background. We usually have 20/20 vision regarding the sins of others but are blind to the one that has sunk its hooks into us.
