Dying to self doesnt mean ceasing to care about people people are infinitely important to the God of love. It doesnt mean giving up through God we are winners. It doesnt mean ceasing to put in enormous effort Jesus sweat until it was like blood. Dying to self means no longer trying to get things for yourself whether protection, fulfillment, achievement, peace or whatever. Such things are no longer your concern. If they come, praise God; if they dont, it doesnt matter. All that matters is God, because his way is perfect and can never be improved on.
