Job 22:6 For you have taken pledges from your brother for nothing, and stripped the naked of their clothing.

Note they were naked before they were stripped. In other words, due to their poverty they were scantily clothed.

Isaiah 20:4 So the king of Assyria will lead away the captives of Egypt and the exiles of Ethiopia, young and old, naked and barefoot, and with buttocks uncovered, to the shame of Egypt.

Note that the word naked was inadequate to convey the meaning of stark naked. To this word had to be added ‘barefoot’ and ‘buttocks uncovered’ to convey the full meaning.
