Deuteronomy 6:6-7 These words, which I command you today, shall be on your heart; and you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up.

Deuteronomy 11:18 Therefore you shall lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul. . . .

Deuteronomy 17:18-19 It shall be, when he sits on the throne of his kingdom, that he shall write himself a copy of this law . . . It shall be with him, and he shall read from it all the days of his life; that he may learn to fear the Lord his God, to keep all the words of this law and these statutes, to do them;

Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it; for then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall have good success.

Psalm 1:2-3 but his delight is in the LordÂ’s law. On his law he meditates day and night. He will be like a tree planted by the streams of water, that produces its fruit in its season, whose leaf also does not wither. Whatever he does shall prosper.

Psalm 112:1 Praise the Lord. Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who delights greatly in his commandments.
