To Love God is to Obey Him

John 14:15 If you love me, keep my commandments.

John 14:21 One who has my commandments, and keeps them, that person is one who loves me. . . .

John 14:23-24 Jesus answered him, “If a man loves me, he will keep my word. . . . He who doesn’t love me doesn’t keep my words. . . .

John 15:10 If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love . . .

1 John 2:5-6 But whoever keeps his word, God’s love has most certainly been perfected in him. This is how we know that we are in him: he who says he remains in him ought himself also to walk just like he walked.

1 John 5:2-3 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep his commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. His commandments are not grievous.
