Humility: The Path to Exaltation


Matthew 23:12 Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.

Luke 1:51-52  . . . He has scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts. He has put down princes from their thrones. And has exalted the lowly.

Luke 14:11 For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.

Luke 18:14  . . . for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but he who humbles himself will be exalted.

1 Peter 5:6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time

James 4:6 But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”
