Breakthroughs in cosmetic surgery are occurring almost daily. To physically reverse lost virginity is now a simple gynecological operation performed under local anesthetic. In diverse countries, teams of gynecologists have formed what has been called a hymen mending (hymenorrhaphy or hymenoplasty) industry. The bitterly disappointing aspect of surgically renewing the hymenal ring is that any medical procedure to give the appearance of virginity is largely deception. What our heart craves is to be made a virgin not in the eyes of someone we have fooled, but to truly become a virgin again, even in the eyes of the God who sees everything and knows everything. The astounding truth is that no matter what your past, this is possible for you. Who wants to struggle through life tortured by a continual compulsion to hide a guilty secret? The latest surgical procedures are rightly called plastic surgery in some countries because they are a sham compared to what we really crave. We want to know in every fiber of our being that when all is revealed, we truly are virgins. As skilled as doctors are, they cannot remove our guilt and regain our innocence. Psychiatry might alter ones perception of the past but it cannot change reality and undo the fact of sexual misbehavior. We dare not overlook the dangers of hymen reconstruction. We will examine this in a link below. Total restoration of innocence, however, would take an act of God. This, our greatest need, is the primary focus of this webpage. In the eyes of the most morally sensitive Person in the universe, you can be a virgin again. No matter what has happened, your past can be wiped, making you spotlessly pure. Although humanly impossible, you are fervently loved by a supernatural God whose enormous yearning to restore your virginity has driven him to spare nothing to bring this about. The Holy Lord loves you so passionately that he longs to become spiritually one with you. But nothing pure can become one with the impure, without becoming impure itself. Perhaps injury or the horror of rape cruelly robbed you of the physical sign of your virginity. In this part of your life you could be completely innocent. Nevertheless, for every one of us, there are areas of life in which we have failed to be morally perfect. For the Holy One to let himself by defiled by our sin is unthinkable. And yet this is exactly what God did. Like a lover willingly infecting himself with a deadly disease in order to be one with his beloved, Jesus took your sins into his spotless life. Like a defiled virgin, Jesus, the Perfect One lost his innocence. He bled. Your sin killed him. But he rose in triumphant purity, having extinguished your sin so that he can be eternally one with you. Suppose a wealthy, highly respected man falls in love with a woman of bad reputation who has huge debts. He so loves her that out of all the women in the world, he chooses to propose marriage to her. By becoming one with her, everything he has would become hers, and everything she has would become his. She would gain his honor and riches, and he would take upon himself her debts and bad reputation. This is a microscopic picture of the enormity of Jesus love for you and of all the wonders that can be yours if you let him become one with you. Many Moslem women believe that voluntary sex outside of marriage is a sin worthy of death. In the final analysis, however, even the nicest people alive have done things worthy of death. For example, if we had a loaded gun in our hand at our weakest moment, almost all of us would have taken a life; either killing ourselves, or killing someone else. We can easily lower our moral standards to excuse our offences, but to lower moral standards is to corrupt oneself, and God, our Judge, cannot do that. Virgin or not, the cold reality is that the debt each of us owe justice is death. Jesus, however, was so different to the rest of humanity that he was worthy not of death but of the highest honor, and yet he allowed himself to suffer as if he deserved the most horrible death. If a person not indebted to a bank, gives money to that bank, he can rightfully inform the bank that the money he gives can cover someone elses debts. By choosing to die for offenses he had never committed, the sinless Son of God has the right to pay the penalty we deserve. This allows an amazing exchange to take place, like the total merger of assets and reputations and destinies in a marriage so perfect that others can only dream of it. The Innocent One took your guilt upon himself so that he could give you his innocence. As a naked, taunted, public spectacle, the crucified Lord suffered your shame so that his honor could be yours. The Spotless One traded your filth for his purity, making his sinless perfection available to you. What Jesus offers is like a marriage proposal. We have touched on just some of what will be yours if you thrill Jesus heart by saying yes to his proposal to become spiritually one with you. (Relevant Scriptures) Not even a girl who has always had an intact hymen is sinless. So if you let him, Jesus will make you so sparklingly clean that alongside the dazzling brilliance of the purity he gives you, even the most innocent of virgins looks shabby. Jesus has gone to inconceivable lengths to ensure that all that remains for his sinlessness to genuinely be yours is for you to respond by wanting it. This desire on your part is critical because morality is based on choice choosing to do what is right. Not even someone with infinite power could choose for you against your will and it still genuinely be your choice. Looked at from another angle: no matter how much an honorable man loves a woman and wants marital union with her, he cannot force himself upon her. If he did, it would not be love, but a criminal violation of her will (rape). For you to exercise the power of choice and so take into your life Jesus innocence simply involves genuinely wishing your immoral past had never happened. You cannot look back with fond memories of illicit pleasures. You might not be able to wipe from your mind memories of past pleasure but you can sincerely wish your sins (be they sexual or nonsexual) had never happened. And you can decide to commit yourself to life-long purity. Having enormous willpower is not the issue; what is needed is simply your desire for God to give you the spiritual strength to never again violate the purposes of God. Like accepting a marriage proposal, your willingness to commit yourself to living a new life with Jesus completes the chain of events created by Jesus suffering for your sins, enabling the Judge of all humanity to proclaim you a sinless virgin. This supernatural removal of sin is far more significant than surgery could ever achieve. It has astounding implications because sin has drastic consequences, the most catastrophic of which is that it so contaminates us that the Holy One must withdraw from us. Morally, the majestic Lord is like a sterilized surgeon unable to touch those he loves because their standard of cleanliness is average rather than absolute. What makes sins contamination cataclysmic is that the God of absolute perfection, whom sin cuts us off from, is the Creator, the source of all life and of everything good. Like a branch severed from a tree, its source of life, we will survive for a while but it is inevitable that we will eventually shrivel up and die. Microsurgery to repair a torn hymen is nothing compared to what it would take to genuinely regain ones purity so that we could be united with the Holy Lord, having his eternal life and goodness flowing through us. What you need is spiritual surgery so deep and profound that only God could achieve the startling results. By swapping places with you, Jesus has performed the miracle of making you holy.
Everyone Will Acknowledge Your PurityIn the previous webpage we discovered significant similarities between male circumcision and a virgin bride consummating her marriage. Just as under the New Covenant a man need not bear the mark of circumcision to be pure in Gods eyes, neither must a woman bear in her body the physical sign of virginity in order to be a chaste virgin in the sight of the One whose opinion really counts. No matter what your past, in the eyes of the Holy Lord, the Judge of all humanity, you can be made morally perfect; innocent not just of sexual sins, but undefiled by any sin.Our current perception of reality is so primitive that, relative to the all-knowing God, we are like stone age savages convinced the world is flat. After our earthly life, however, everyone will see as God sees. So when the God of truth proclaims you to be innocent, it means the time will come when all is revealed. Then in the eyes of everyone you will be seen to be innocent.
The Purity God Gives Is RealThe Bible makes it clear that throughout history God was planning the Messiahs family tree. He chose a virgin to give birth to the Eternal Son of God. And to demonstrate that he restores virginity, he chose women with shady pasts to be the Holy Ones ancestresses. The Gospel of Matthew deliberately emphasizes the history of sexual impurity in Jesus ancestry. In those days a genealogy would not normally mention a woman, and yet Matthew does this several times, and each time it is to highlight an irregularity. When Ruth married, she was a widow, not a virgin, and she came from an ungodly background. Rahab came from a tribe so depraved that every one of them was worthy of death. And even among them, she was a harlot. Tamar had had two previous husbands and pretended to be a prostitute in order to trick her father-in-law into having sex with her to conceive an ancestor of the Messiah. Solomons mother conceived while having an extra-marital affair. In every case, their shame occurred before God honored them by making them, alongside the virgin Mary, ancestresses of the Messiah. The majestic Lord delights in exalting the very people whom the self-righteous look down on.It is essential that you ensure God regards you as a virgin.
