When Jane first shared her vision with me, I imagined it would appeal mainly to women, but I discovered that any intelligent human can slip into her mind and know the emotions this supernatural experience must have engendered within her. And I know that what this vision did for Jane, God wants to do for you and me.

The symbolism might be feminine, but the Bible has no qualms about using it and applying it to both genders. After all, there should be no sexual component in our love for Jesus.
